Cover – Quilt Quilters of the Bulga Forest Kate Fraser Belinda Somers Amanda Muscio Sue Collins Telly Bertels The quilters are a group of women inspired to depict the threatened Bulga Forest. The work is a peaceful protest showing what we are fighting to save. The quilt is made from small pieces of fabric that are glued and then sewn to the background. This has then been further embellished and oversewn. The work becomes increasingly elaborate as the fight to save Bulga Forest goes on. The work is usually on display at Little Plain Hall and at the regular Elands Markets.
