I have been a hobby artist for many years working in oils and acrylics. My preferred subjects are landscapes and still lifes.
I am mainly self taught with help from Peter Champion, weekend workshops and Youtube.
During my time in Armidale I exhibited in Uralla Rotary Art Show and in 2024 I entered
Comboyne Show, gaining first place in Class D ;Comboyne Scene for my painting Bridal Veil Falls
Every painting is a learning experience with one in two or three worth keeping. People ask me if painting is relaxing. I tell them it is like golf. Some days are diamond, some days are stone.
