August artist Heidi
I did art at school until 4 th form (year10) year and loved it, particularly
painting and drawing.I dropped art in my last school years as I was interested in biology and ecology, so studied science subjects.

After studying and then working as a plant ecologist, in 1984 I started
farming biodynamically with my husband. My circumstances have changed recently, and I have now have time to start to paint again. I have never used water colours and am enjoying playing with them,especially on wet paper as they take on a life of their own.

The changing colours and landscapes of the Bulga have been part of my
every day for 34 years and constantly fascinate me.
